How much will I be able to claim?
This is the question most often asked first but in fact it should be the question which is deferred until last. The primary objective should always be to assist the injured person towards rehabilitation and eventual recovery, so far as this may be possible, as soon as practicable. Coupled with this will be securing interim payments to cover the most immediate requirements and replace ongoing loss of earnings.
How long will it take?
No guarantees can be given as each case is very different. Much will depend on the type of evidence to be gathered to assist in proving firstly who (if anyone) was to blame for the incident and secondly what injuries and other losses have been suffered. Simple cases may be concluded in about 18 months. More complex cases may take very much longer.
